Treatment from day one
Most first visits include hands-on treatment and a starter home exercise program, so you leave with a plan.
A plan for the long run
You get a home exercise program and wellness plan tailored to your needs, so progress continues between visits.
What to bring
- Photo ID and insurance card
- Physician referral or prescription, if you have one
- A list of current medications
- Any imaging reports (X-ray, MRI) or surgical notes
- Comfortable clothes that let us see and move the area being treated

Do I need a referral from my doctor?
Not always. Many patients can start physical therapy without a referral, but some insurance plans require one. Call us and we'll check for you.
How long is the first visit?
Plan for about an hour. Arriving 10–15 minutes early helps if you were not able to complete your forms online.
Do you take my insurance?
We work with many major plans, including CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare and Medicare Part B. Coverage varies by plan, so call (410) 884-0003 and we'll verify your benefits before your visit. We also treat auto accident and workers' compensation cases.
